a joyful workshop with primary school children , blue coat school, Birmingham

We explored the magic of natural dyes made from spirulina, Saffron , coffee, and some other beautiful natural materials , Using the wet-on-wet technique, the children created dreamy, abstract garden backgrounds , and they absolutely loved watching the colours blend and transform on the wet paper!

They then brought their gardens to life with hand-drawn and cut-out flowers, insects, and plants. A wonderful celebration of creativity, nature, and sustainability, all through playful experimentation and imagination.
